Scrapbooking Paper

With the digital cameral has come a whole new craze in scrapbooking. Digital scrapbooking has opened doors to anything from designing your own scrapbook "paper" to sharing your designed pages with others by simply sending them to a scrapbook website via email attachments.

Digital scrapbooking is a hard concept to grasp for some of the old school scrapbookers. We have acid free and lignin free paper, die cuts, etc. ingrained in our heads and it is hard to imaging creating If you are an avid scrapbooker who takes your scrapping seriously then you can relate to the feeling you get if you are on a role doing different pages in the middle of the night only to have your creativity come to a screeching halt when you do not have the correct scrapbooking paper, stickers or die cuts to complete a page. There is nothing worse then digging through your mounds of piles looking for a page for a baby scrapbook complete with smiling stars or a page with sailboats for your weekend on the water only to find that you have nothing that even comes close to what you need.

If you have had this experience you know that your scrapbooking balloon has deflated. It is practically impossible to move onto another page because this is the one you want to do right now. I typically do pages in chronological order, so having to skip a whole day of vacation or a family get together can really throw me off. Sometimes I link pages together, so I really can't move on to the next page because I don't know how the scrapbooking paper on the previous page is going to look.

I found the answer to this scrapbooking dilemma one night while searching for scrapbooking paper geared towards twins. There, on the computer in front of me, was a lovely sight…FREE downloadable scrapbooking paper! Yes, free paper anytime, anywhere, anyplace that I need it. Anything from themes to dots to checks to custom designs. It is a scrapbookers dream to be able to shop whenever the mood hits you.

While searching for the downloadable scrapbooking paper I also found borders, letters, diecuts and frames, all of which are helpful for when we are creating our scrapbooking layouts. Most of the paper can be downloaded to your computer so that you can print it at home on your printer. I also found many sites that will allow you to use the pages that they have for both digital scrapbooking and to print making them very versatile as many people have moved to the digital phase.

With hundreds of pages to choose from, you are sure to find scrapbooking paper online that fits whatever project you are working on. In addition to the free downloadable paper, you can find sites that offer unique or custom made scrapbooking paper that you can have shipped to you which allows you to buy paper that you won't find in any of the large craft stores and helps make your scrapbooking pages one of a kind.
