One of the best sources for news on the latest and greatest in the scrapbooking world is the local Creative Memories Consultants in our area. Creative Memories is always coming out with a new item and they have a way of describing it that will make you have to buy it right then and there. Our consultants are very good about letting us test new scrapbooking supplies and products at special monthly crop parties that they have to offer. Sometimes we buy and sometimes we don't, but we have yet to be disappointed by any of the scrapbooking supplies that we have purchased.

There are a variety of scrapbooking stores in our area that offer anything from classes to page ideas to hundreds of different types of scrapbooking supplies. We find that when we enter these warehouse size stores we have to go in with an idea, with a scrapbooking mission, and stick to it. For instance, if we are doing a wedding album we only look at items that have to do with the bridal showers, wedding and honeymoon. We stay away from pages that would be perfect for a ski trip we never took or baby pages when our children have entered the toddler stage. If we don't stay focused we can leave with so many awesome scrapbooking supplies and no pictures to go with them.

We have purchased brand new items on online auctions such as Ebay from sellers who bought a lot of supplies and never got into scrapping. There are discount sites and sites that offer custom scrapbooking supplies as well. We love the internet when searching for supplies as we have found some of our best and most unique supplies that we haven't seen in any of the stores that we have ever been in.
